“I am Mohit; I was in severe condition when I was admitted to Rehabilitation centre at VSDESWS. This centre is my first school. I am obliged with Mental Retardation with multiple disabilities. Before, I wouldn’t speak anything. Today, I am able to utter a few words like akka, mama, etc.

Before I would starve although would be hungry, as I couldn’t speak. But today, I ask my Mother if I’m hungry enough. I ask her water, rice, tea and much more. I can also say out the alphabets and numbers all aloud. I am also able to mingle with my friends at the centre. Today, my condition has been better compared to the past”.
